After a term has been published to Bureau Works Glossary, it is still possible to edit its metadata to adjust its usage by linguists on the CAT Tool.
This article explains how to do it.
Finding Term and Editing Metadata
In order to find the term you need to Edit, select the T icon (Terminology) on left menu and click on the option "Search Terms" at the top. Then type your search term and criteria and hit the "Search" button.
The terms matching your search criteria will show up at the left hand side list. Click on the term you need to edit and then under the "Actions" button, click on "Edit Term Metadata" (see image below).
Editing Terms (individually)
To edit metadata of a term/translation individually (i.e. without impacting other languages) simply find the target language in the list and make the changes you need.
When you are done editing, simply hit the "Save" button.
Editing Terms in Bulk
If you want the same set of metadata to be propagated across all languages, BW allows you to do it in a easy and straightforward way by clicking "Edit All" button.
That will display a "master" metadata entry where you can input the values you want and the replicate across all languages by clicking on "Copy to All" (image below).
If you are convinced that the changes have been propagated correctly, just hit "Save" button.
Important:
Notice that this is a feature available for TERM_LANGUAGE_MANAGERS. For a more detailed description of Terminology user roles, please read this article.
