In Bureau Works it is now possible to add comments at a Project or Job Level. The comments can be added by any users that can access such "pages" in the system and are persistent, i.e. they will be kept for as long as the project exists in the system. Below is a description on how to add comments.
Comments at a Project Level
From any project details page, click on the "Comments" icon at the right hand side as highlighted in the image below:
A vertical panel will show up with all previously inserted comments and also a field where you can type in any new comments and "confirm" (see image below).
Comments at a Job Level
To add comments at the leve of an individual job, go to the list of Jobs (Project page > Allocation > Jobs) and filter for the language(s) and workflow step(s) you want to see. At the right side of each job there is a messages icon in the "messages" column, as highlighted below:
Once you click the messages icon, a vertical panel will be displayed with all previously inserted comments for that job. You can also add more comments and send/confirm (image below).
Bureau Works will also generate notifications, into the platform, for all users which are watchers in the project, including the Project Manager and Contact Person.
