And the text version:
Today is the birth of tomorrow
Let’s look together at how we want to do things from here on out, not how things were done in the past.
Reflection is the doorway to good decision making
When faced with challenges, let’s look inward before we take action.
Mistakes are the biggest learning opportunities
Let’s go after knowledge but most importantly, let’s capitalize on all the wealth of knowledge we acquire from the things that don’t go as planned. Let’s squeeze all the learning we can from those opportunities.

How not to be Dilbert
The Death and
The Rebirth of Human Agency
Every second matters. Speed matters.
Responsiveness is how we show that we care. Not a little bit, but a lot.
Let’s focus on getting our missions accomplished. Tasks are important only as milestones, not as goals in and of themselves. Let’s be creative, vocal and persistent to get things done.
We are about delivering results, not completing tasks
Hey, it's me!
We are about true purpose
Let’s fully own the things that we control.
Let’s not draw lines or create stories in
order to remove ourselves from the
equation. If we all seek to own as much as we can, our organization will always move forward with very few organizational gaps.
Communication is a two-way street
Let’s not hide behind fancy industry jargon. Let’s speak plainly and communicate exactly what needs to happen so that others can really understand us.
Our journey requires a positive outlook and appreciation
Yes, there is so much for us to improve in terms of product and management. But let’s focus on everything that we have working for us and lean into those strengths so that we can continue to build.
It’s a real commitment
Let’s dive head-on into our goals. Let’s not hold back. Let’s believe in them until proven otherwise and work together through the challenges. If we don’t dive in, we’ll just be beating around the bush.
Nurturing our people is the consequence of excellence
Excellence is non-negotiable. Whatever your role, you must set out to be the very best at it. Once we have excellence in place, we can be flexible and understanding.
