If you've just started and it seems like no jobs are arriving in your dashboard, don't despair!

There are many possible reasons why you are not seeing any jobs right away:

• Seasonal or economic reasons: our business fluctuates depending on our clients' demand, that's why it's hard to predict when we will have jobs available for you.
• Your rate may be too high – we allow vendors to set their own rates; this means that each vendor in our database works with a different rate, and translators with similar experience but lower rates may be prioritized based on how much they charge. To change your rate, please email talent@bureauworks.com, our team will change your rate and you can see if that will result in more jobs available.
  
  
• Others accepted the project before you – most of our projects are highly time-sensitive and we work on a “first come, first serve” basis.
• The project particularly requires knowledge of a specific field. 

Tip: Be persistent. It takes time to find the performance/rate sweet spot in our platform. Once you do though, you may find a steady flow of business going your way.
