1. Adding and editing terms through the Glossary

To add new a new term directly to an existing Glossary, first, on the BWX Index page, click on Glossary and then in Glossaries

Find the Glossary you want to edit using the Search feature on the Glossary Page

After finding it, click on the Glossary you want to change and then click on
Add Term
button

The tab Add Term allows users to add the following information regarding new terms/concepts:

Language: Term Target language;
-
Text: The Term itself;
-
Status: Every term added to the Glossary will be created as Approved by default. - In future improvements, we will have a terminology tool where it will be possible to set other statuses for each term;

It is possible to add some attributes such as Case Sensitivity, Exact Match, and Forbidden

Concept definition: definition related to the context in which they will be used;

Usage: Term usage, such as cases where they must be applied;

Note: information that can help the linguist to use the term, such as its origin or any specific instruction, for example;

Save: after filling in all the required information, click on
Save
to add the new term to the Glossary;

As concepts are added to the Glossary, they will be shown in their respective language column

It is also possible:

To add a new term to an existing concept, click directly on the + signal in the language column where you want to add the translation for the term

Edit a term/concept

Delete a term/concept

By clicking on Edit Term, it is possible to edit the information related to the new term:

Text: translation for the term/concept

Attributes: Case Sensitive, Exact Match, and Forbidden

Concept definition: context where the term/concept is or will be used

Usage: how to use the term, where it can be applicable

Note: additional information regarding the term
