This article brings a general view of the BWX Editor resources
1. Structure
BWX Editor is a CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tool for carrying out translations and content reviews.
In the Task menu, click on Open in Editor to open the BWX Editor Screen:
This is BWX Editor Home Screen:
1. Filename
2. Number of Segments and Progress bar
3. Source Language and Target Language
4. Translate Button
5. Confirm All Button
6. Download Button
7. Delivery Button
⚠️The delivery button is meant to be clicked after the vendor finishes the task and wants to deliver it. This action will change the tasks' status to "Delivered" and will prevent the vendor from doing further changes to it.
8. Lock/Unlock Button
⚠️When active (blue), it indicates the segment is locked (usually used for segments in which no actions are required). Click on the Lock icon to lock/unlock the segment.

2. Preview
By clicking on Preview, you can have a preview of the Translated content on the screen. The preview structure is the following:
On the upper left side, there are some features:

3. Editor Menu
BWX Editor menu brings a new series of features to help the content Translations/Review Works. The Menu structure is the following:

Editor's Comments: You can now add comments to each segment in BWX Editor.

Suggestion (from translation memory or machine): The main panel used during the content localization process. Translation Memory and TermBase suggestions will be available for the user in this tab
- Instructions: Here, any instructions useful for the project will be shown along with Reference files

QA Check Tool: QA Check is a tool that helps linguists verify possible inconsistencies in their translations.

Search on TM: This tab can be used to search for any sentence available in the Translation Memories associated with the project

Glossary: This tab can be used to search for any terms available in the Glossaries associated with the project
-
Filter: You can filter Source or Target segments in the content available for translation from this tab
-
Translation History: This tab will display any changes that were made to the content in previous steps of the Localization workflow. This applies only to different workflows of the same task
- Document: From this tab, you will able to see the Project name, reference, client and owner and will also have some options to customize the Editor based on your preferences

Review: From this tab, it is possible to review PDF files

4. Keyboard Shortcuts
