This article will explain the Spell Check Tool and how to use it.
Spell Check Tool
The Spell Check Tool is available inside the Editor. This feature will warn the Vendor whenever a word is wrongly written in the Target Field according to the Target Language.
- The number between the parentheses represents each segment's spelling mistakes.
- The warning will disappear once the segment is confirmed, even with spelling mistakes. If the same segment is unconfirmed, the vendor will be able to see it again.
Even when we have Glossary terms correctly translated, the Spell Check Tool will warn us when the term/word is not recognized in the Target Language dictionary:
As you can see in the image above, the word "Bureau Works" was highlighted both in yellow and red. The yellow color signals that the term is saved in the Glossary associated with the Project, while the red color signals that the Spell Check Tool has found a misspelling.
Please see Supported Languages by Bureau Works Spell Checker for a list of languages that are supported by Bureau Works Spell Checker.
Bureau Works is constantly improving and expanding its support for additional languages, both for translation and for its spell checker. If your language is not mentioned as supported, please contact our support staff so that we can assess its feasibility.
⚠️ Please note that currently, our QA Check Tool won't point out spelling mistakes.
